Will there be a third season of HSMTMTS?

Yes. On the 13th of September, Disney+ announced on Twitter that High School Musical: The Musical The Series was renewed for a 3rd season. “Buckle in and get ready to watch Season 3, Wildcats,” Disney+ tweeted.

When will the third season of HSMTMTS be released?

There isn’t a specific release date set for High School Musical: The Musical: The Series season 3, Disney+ has stated that it will release in 2022. “We already feel chills because #HSMTMTS season 3 will be released to 2022.” They tweeted on the 12th of November.

Olivia Rodrigo revealed in a TIME article that filming will start on January 20, 2022. Season 2 was released in May, so season 3 could premiere on the same date. Similar to the previous two season’s episodes, they will air on a weekly basis via Disney+.

 

Who will be in the third season of HSMTMTS?

It currently seems like every one of our actors from the second season of High School Musical: The Musical: The Series will be back in Season 3. Joshua Bassett (Ricky), Matt Cornett (E.J. ), Sofia Wylie (Gina), Larry Sapperstein (Big Red), Julia Lester (Ashlyn), Dara Renee (Kourtney), Frankie Rodriguez (Carlos) as well as Joe Serafini (Seb) are all likely to return.

The fans who love Olivia Rodrigo who are worried that her new role as a singer won’t allow Nini from appearing on season 3 aren’t concerned.
